The Healthy Diabetic

#250: Jewell Halsted's Relatable Diagnosis & Diabetes Journey

Coach Ken / Jewell Halsted

Hey Diabuddy thank you for listening to show, send me some positive vibes with your favorite part of this episode.

In today's episode I sat down with Jewell Halsted a T1D of 15 years and a physicians assistant at a local family practitioners office. Beyond just managing Diabetes, Jewell is passionate about advocating for others with T1D—she stays active with the T1D Exchange and the JDRF Walk to Cure. Her experiences have inspired me to step into the medical field as a medical assistant at a family practitioner's office, where she has been able to support others living with Diabetes.
